Hi! I’m Austin! I’m starting my book today. It’s for school! I don’t know why there’s so many butterflies, or how they got there, or the age of the dinosaurs, but what I do know is just before I left off we were about to go on a grand adventure. This may not be for school but I think you should know I’m pretty cool. I wear really neat sunglasses. You can call me Mista D. In the beginning it was very very misty. There was no such sign for he birds and the beats. The only sign of life was the top of the water bubbling. ic ould tell that it was thirsty so I brought over some fresh-squeeze ice cold lemonade. We didn’t have any ice yet so it was necessary id raw it or at lesa imagine it because by the time Iw as done drawing about a thosuand years had passed. I kept looking over to see if it was done yet. This whole time the water had been cooling because the ceiling fans had been spinning over weeks, years, centuries and Ive been holding my breath so long I just have to breathe. You thought i as talking a lot well that was NOTHIGN!!! 🙂 I just see it to myself most of the time. Yo can only hear me talking if you’re really listening. Ic are ups or a breather nd the sea was shimmering around me. It was quiet and cold and it was beautiful and it was silent.

I looked up at the moon in the sky. I could hardly breathe. I twas just so big and beautiful. She winked at me. She took a big breath. The tides rose. Huge waves rose up, and tossed me up and down on the rollicking waves, like some gigantic rollercoaster, and they threw me down to shore. Where I’d just been there now were tiny goals, little schools of objects that kept swimming side to sides nd they tickled my shirt. I laughed so big all these seashells started opudring out of me. There were flare-ups and meltdowns, it was hot and then twas freezing—but slowly, slowly the Earth began to green.

we slammed the breaks. But wouldn’t t it be even more wonderful if we had our OWN PLANET? Pluto jumped up and down in my backpack, just like Starry. “So what do you thinK? Should it befall of ice cream? Should it be full of rainbows? Should it have wind and sun dn rain and pink lemonade?” (I was tag notes and drawing.) Should it be full of all sorts of plants and animals?”

Lucky nodded.

“I know  place.”

She looked at us and smiled. “Now it’ sup to you to creat.”

And behinds, Luckywas creating. We couldn’t see it. But behind us in a little piece of space betetwen the stinky planet and the planet with the very nice family, we were making something.

It was beautiful.

It was a whole new world just like a mound of clay that we could warp, shape ,a din that moment (because it was such a Sunny day) (Get it, Nefertiti? :)) the Earth began to take shape.

And it was pretty rough at first.

I made it from lots of other planets. But I began to love it. I even rocked it in my sleep. And when I got angry, it, too, got angry! I got a head full of steam! It blew its top off! Inside of me, Iw asa absolutely boiling and bubbling, and since Iw as furious, nothing would grow there, but then I thought to myself, why am I so angry—

and I looked at Lucky, and remembered why Iw as so happy and smiling. 🙂
