I know right now you’re probably getting pretty sleepy. Well let me wake you up. What if I told you there was a place in our galaxy, no actually our solar system, where you could always get your adults to start laughing. Well they wouldn’t be so much of laughing so much as they’d be saying “DON’T SAY THAT!!!” But inside of themselves they’d actually be  laughing because they know you don’t know what it means. And I actually don’t! That’s what makes it so funny!!!

I started shouting.

“Uranus!”

“URANUS!”

“What’s with all that yelling?” my teacher asked me.

“I just discovered a new planet in the solar system!”

“That’s amazing! What’s it’s name?”

“URANUS!”

“UR right! That is pretty funny!”

“Um. Can I ask you a question.”

“Sure!”

“Why’s it so funny?”

My teacher looked around awkwardly. “Mmm. Uhh…Hey, do you want some peanut butter and jelly?”

“DON’T TRY TO DISTRACT ME!!!”

“OK, do you want some…uh…cold-pressed charcoal lemonade?”

“What the heck is that?”

“How about some kale potato chips?”

“No!!!!!!”

“What about some ice cream celery?”

“OK, now you’re just being funny!”

“EXACTLY! So, you see, it doesn’t matter exactly what I mean. Just say URANUS because it makes you happy!” 🙂
